This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation at the forefront of sustainable recycling technology.<div class="MsoNoSpacing" style="text-align: center;"><hr></div>About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out both reactive and preventative maintenance on a variety of plant machinery, ensuring smooth and safe operation of equipment including hammer mills, shredders, balers, an extruder, and melt filtration systems.This is a hands-on, varied role that requires both mechanical and electrical expertise, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced industrial environment.<div class="MsoNoSpacing" style="text-align: center;"><hr></div>Key Responsibilities·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Perform regular preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on a wide range of recycling plant and machinery.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Carry out reactive maintenance to minimise downtime and disruption to production.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Fit, assemble, and maintain mechanical components and assemblies.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Conduct electrical fault-finding, diagnostics, and repairs, including root cause analysis to identify recurring issues.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Work closely with the operations and production teams to maintain equipment efficiency and performance.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ensure compliance with all Health &amp; Safety procedures and company policies.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Recognised Electrical and Mechanical qualifications.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Clear written and verbal communication skills.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Experience within a fast-paced manufacturing or recycling environment.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Knowledge and experience of 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Demonstrated experience in 3-phase electrical systems and mechanical fault-finding/repairs.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; First Aid qualification.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
