Workchain is currently seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our client's reputable company in Birmingham. Key Responsibilities: 1. Provide general administrative support, including handling incoming and outgoing correspondence, managing documents, and maintaining filing systems. 2. Manage phone calls, responding to inquiries and redirecting calls as necessary. 3. Assist in calendar management, scheduling appointments, and organizing meetings. 4. Coordinate travel arrangements, including booking flights and accommodations. 5. Collate and distribute meeting agendas and minutes as required. 6. Prepare and edit reports, presentations, and other business documents. 7. Support the team in managing databases, updating records, and ensuring data accuracy. 8. Help with HR-related tasks, such as maintaining employee records and coordinating training sessions. 9. Handle office supply inventory, order new supplies, and ensure stock levels are maintained. 10. Perform additional administrative duties, such as photocopying, scanning, and data entry, as required. Qualifications: 1. Previous experience in a similar administrative role within the Office industry is preferred. 2. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment. 3. Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and other common office software. 4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong proofreading abilities. 5. Attention to detail and accuracy in all work tasks. 6. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team. 7. A proactive and adaptable approach, with a willingness to take ownership of tasks and solve problems. 8. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately. This Administrative Assistant opportunity offers a pay rate of £11.00 per hour.
