Are you looking for a temporary to permanent contract as a Warehouse Operative. Workchain is currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative in Wednesbury WS10 7NZ. This is working on a rotating shift pattern shifts are as follows. 0530 - 1430 one week and then 1400 - 2300 the next. The work is Monday to Friday.

You will be trained to work, safely and efficiently to work with the cutting equipment to cut orders down to size and maximising profitability. General warehouse duties will be required as well in quieter periods and some assistance with loading/ unloading and stock take. Due to the nature of this role there is some handball and you will be required to move sheets of plastic which can weigh 20 - 25kgs.

Some Forklift Counterbalance and/or Forklift Reach experience is preferred but not essential. When you go permanent there is an increase on your pay and you become eligible various perks from the company.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operating machinery and equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Assembling and packaging products according to company specifications
- Inspecting finished products for quality assurance
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Following health and safety protocols at all times

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing role preferred
- Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team
- Good attention to detail and quality standards
- Basic understanding of health and safety guidelines
