About the Role
We’re looking for a hardworking and detail-oriented Vehicle Valeter to join a busy vehicle preparation centre based in Ilkeston. This role involves cleaning and preparing a range of vehicles, from light commercial vans to large HGVs, ensuring they are presented to the highest possible standard before delivery or sale.
You’ll be working in a professional environment that values quality, consistency, and teamwork. The site operates a 6:00am start time, making it ideal for early risers who take pride in hands-on work and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
Wash, polish, and valet cars, vans, and trucks to company standards.
Carry out interior and exterior cleaning, including vacuuming, window cleaning, and dashboard detailing.
Use pressure washers and cleaning chemicals safely and effectively.
Move vehicles carefully around the site as needed (full training provided).
Inspect vehicles and report any damage or issues to the supervisor.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the valeting area.
What We Offer
Hourly rate: £12.21 – £13.00 per hour.
Regular day shifts – 6am start, Monday to Friday.
Weekly pay every Wednesday.
Full training provided – experience preferred but not essential.
Clean and well-organised working environment.

Requirements
Previous experience as a valeter, detailer, or car cleaner is desirable but not essential.
Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality work.
Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
A valid UK driving licence is highly preferred.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
