Class 1 Driver - Temporary

Location: Kirkby-in-Ashfield

Workchain, a leading UK-based recruitment agency specializing in the driving industry, is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Class 1 Driver for a temporary assignment in Kirkby-in-Ashfield.

Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate Class 1 vehicles to transport goods and deliver them to designated locations
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and safety protocols
- Perform routine vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues to the appropriate department
- Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping for each delivery
- Collaborate with the logistics team to plan routes effectively
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, representing our client in a professional manner at all times

Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Class 1 (C+E) driving license
- Possess a valid CPC card and digital tachograph card
- Demonstrated experience in driving Class 1 vehicles, preferably within the same or a similar industry
- Excellent knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and responsibly, as well as part of a team

Pay Rate: £750.00 - £900.00 per week, depending on experience
