Are you an experienced Class 1 Driver seeking  employment in the Newark-on-Trent area? Workchain, a leading UK-based recruitment agency, is currently seeking qualified and reliable individuals for an exciting temporary driving position.

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a Class 1 vehicle, complying with all relevant road traffic regulations and company policies.
- Collect and deliver goods efficiently and on time, maintaining exceptional levels of customer service.
- Perform vehicle inspections and maintenance checks, reporting any faults or issues promptly.
- Complete all required documentation accurately, including delivery paperwork, time sheets, and vehicle inspections.
- Collaborate effectively with the transport team, ensuring open lines of communication to facilitate smooth operations.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines and promote a safety-conscious work environment.

Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Class 1 driving license with no more than 6 penalty points.
- Possess a valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) and Digital Tachograph Card.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Class 1 Driver is essential.
- Excellent knowledge of UK road networks and traffic laws.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Proven track record of punctuality and reliability.
- Flexible approach to working hours, including some weekends and nights.

Pay:
The hourly pay rate for this position is £15 per hour.
