Job Title: Temporary Class 1 Driver

Pay Rate: £15.00 - £16.00 per hour

Workchain, a leading recruitment agency in the UK, is currently seeking experienced Class 1 Drivers for our client based in South Normanton. This is a temporary position within the Driving industry, offering competitive pay rates and opportunities for ongoing work.

Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a Class 1 vehicle, adhering to all relevant road traffic laws and regulations
- Complete timely collections and deliveries as instructed
- Conduct pre and post vehicle checks, reporting any defects or issues promptly
- Maintain excellent customer service and communication skills when dealing with clients and customers
- Follow delivery schedules and ensure all deliveries are made within designated time frames
- Comply with health and safety regulations and procedures at all times

Qualifications Required:
- Hold a valid Class 1 Driving license
- Previous experience as a Class 1 Driver is essential
- A valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Excellent knowledge of UK road networks
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Good communication skills and a positive, professional attitude
- Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision

This temporary role offers a competitive pay rate ranging from £15.00 to £16.00 per hour, depending on experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods across South Normanton and surrounding areas, ensuring efficient and timely service to our client's customers.
