Workchain, a leading UK-based recruitment agency, is currently seeking a reliable and experienced Class 1 Driver for our esteemed client based in South Normanton. This is a temporary position, offering an excellent opportunity to join a reputable company in the driving industry.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Safely transport goods from one location to another, adhering to all relevant road and traffic regulations.
2. Ensure the timely and efficient delivery of goods to customers, maintaining high levels of customer service.
3. Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with legal and company requirements.
4. Load and unload goods, following proper handling and securing techniques to prevent damage during transit.
5. Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and promptly, including delivery notes, mileage records, and vehicle defect reports.
6. Communicate effectively with the transport office regarding delivery schedules, any delays, or potential issues.
7. Maintain a tidy and organized vehicle, keeping it clean and reporting any maintenance or repair needs.

Qualifications and Skills:
1. Hold a valid Class 1 Driving License, with no more than 6 penalty points.
2. Possess a valid Digital Tachograph card and Driver CPC.
3. Minimum of 2 years' proven experience in Class 1 driving, with a clean driving record.
4. Familiarity with the local area and good geographical knowledge.
5. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
6. Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accurate completion of paperwork.
7. Ability to work independently, demonstrating reliability and punctuality.

Pay Rate: £750.00 - £850.00 per week
