Workchain is recruiting for a highly skilled Installation Gas Engineer to join a well-established engineering business on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineer looking for a stable, field-based role with strong professional support, ongoing work, and genuine earning potential.

You’ll be responsible for carrying out Installations, repairs, fault-finding and planned maintenance on commercial heating and boiler systems across Derbyshire and the surrounding regions.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Carry out Installations, repairs and maintenance on a range of commercial heating and boiler systems

• Diagnose faults quickly and effectively, ensuring minimal downtime for customers

• Maintain accurate job records and documentation

• Deliver professional customer service, offering advice and technical guidance where required

• Ensure all work complies with relevant legislation, safety standards, and company procedures

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through high-quality service

• Work as part of a supportive field engineering team

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Gas Engineer

• Strong technical knowledge of boilers, pumps, burners and related heating systems

• Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding ability

• Confident communicator with a customer-focused approach

• Relevant qualifications including:

  • CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1

• Full UK Driving Licence

Hours & Package

• Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:30pm

• 1 in 4 Saturday rota

• Overtime available during busy periods
