Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate HGV Class 1 vehicles, adhering to all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
- Complete pre and post trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or issues promptly
- Ensure timely collection and delivery of goods to specified destinations, following designated delivery routes
- Maintain accurate records of each delivery and complete all necessary paperwork promptly and correctly
- Collaborate with warehouse staff and work together to load and unload goods as required
- Secure loads properly and ensure their safe transportation to prevent damages
- Effectively communicate with customers, handling any queries or concerns in a professional manner
- Comply with health and safety regulations at all times, ensuring the safety of yourself, colleagues, and the public

Qualifications:
- Hold a valid HGV Class 1 licence (CE category) and have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as an HGV Class 1 driver
- Have a valid Driver Qualification Card (CPC)
- Possess a digital tachograph card and a comprehensive understanding of tachograph and driving hour regulations
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, adhering to all driving laws and regulations
- Good knowledge of Ashby-de-la-Zouch and surrounding areas would be advantageous
- The ability to work independently, demonstrating reliability and punctuality
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor when interacting with customers and colleagues

Pay Rate: £14.00 - £16.00 per hour
