**Job Title:** Temporary HGV Class 1 Driver - Grimsby

Are you an experienced and reliable HGV Class 1 Driver seeking a temporary job opportunity in Grimsby? We are currently recruiting on behalf of our esteemed client in the Driving industry. As a HGV Class 1 Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods across various destinations.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Safely and efficiently operate a HGV Class 1 vehicle to transport goods from one location to another
- Conduct pre and post journey vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
- Adhere to all legal requirements and maintain vehicle compliance, including tachograph regulations
- Navigate through different routes, following GPS or verbal directions, to meet delivery schedules
- Ensure all paperwork, such as delivery notes, manifests, and electronic logs, are accurately completed
- Maintain a professional and courteous attitude with customers and clients while delivering exceptional service
- Collaborate with warehouse personnel to load and unload goods as required

**Qualifications and Skills:**
- Valid HGV Class 1 license with no more than 6 points on your driving record
- Experience as a HGV Class 1 Driver, preferably within the Driving industry
- Full understanding and compliance with applicable driving regulations and legislation
- Ability to safely operate and maneuver large HGV vehicles in various weather and road conditions
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- A reliable and responsible attitude towards carrying out duties

**Pay Rate:** £14.00 - £15.00 per hour
