Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate HGV Class 1 vehicles to transport goods from one location to another.
- Carry out thorough vehicle checks before, during, and after each journey, ensuring the vehicle is in a roadworthy condition.
- Ensure prompt and timely deliveries while adhering to traffic regulations and delivery schedules.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines, ensuring the security of the loaded goods and maintaining a high standard of professionalism and customer service.
- Maintain accurate records and paperwork related to deliveries, including delivery notes and timesheets.
- Communicate effectively with the transport team, reporting any issues or delays that may affect delivery schedules.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Hold a valid HGV Class 1 license, with relevant driving experience.
- Possess a full Driver CPC qualification.
- Have a clear understanding of UK driving legislation, road safety, and best practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to complete necessary paperwork accurately and efficiently.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet delivery deadlines.
