Job Title: Trumpf Laser Operator (3 Positions)

We are currently recruiting 3 experienced Trumpf Laser Operators to join a busy engineering and manufacturing site in Fenton. The successful candidates will operate Trumpf plate and/or tube laser cutting machines, ensuring high-quality production and safe working practices.

Shift Patterns and Pay

• Morning: 6:00am – 2:00pm - £14.00 per hour

• Afternoon: Mon–Thurs 2:00pm – 10:30pm / Fri 2:00pm – 8:00pm - £15.00per hour

• Nights: 10:00pm – 6:00am - £16.00 - per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Trumpf plate and tube laser cutting machines

• Load/unload materials and monitor production runs

• Read and interpret engineering drawings

• Carry out quality checks using measuring equipment

• Perform basic machine maintenance and keep the work area tidy

• Follow all health & safety procedures

Essential Requirements

• Experience operating Trumpf laser cutting machinery

• Ability to read technical drawings

• Experience using measuring tools (verniers, gauges, tape)

• Good attention to detail and ability to work shifts

Desirable

• Experience with plate and tube laser systems

• Knowledge of TruTops programming

• FLT or overhead crane experience

• Engineering or manufacturing background
