Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
About the Role
We are looking for a Sales Advisor to join our team in Saffron Walden. This is a permanent, full-time position where you will handle customer enquiries and process orders primarily via telephone, as well as through email and website orders.
You will support customers, process orders efficiently, and identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products. Full product training and Sage 200 system training will be provided.
Please note: due to the location of our site, it is not accessible by public transport, so applicants will need their own reliable transport.
Key Responsibilities
Answer incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner.
Process orders and enquiries received via phone, email, and web orders.
Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
Monitor automated web orders and resolve errors after training.
Liaise with couriers and warehouse staff to ensure efficient deliveries.
Provide basic customer support following training.
Occasionally follow up on quotations with customers.
Requirements
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Outlook.
Previous Sage 200 experience is an advantage but not essential.
Own transport required due to location.
