Transfer Station Plant Operative – £13.80 per hour Location: Blackpool Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:30 (30-minute lunch) Job Type: Temporary (overtime may be available)The Role: We’re seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Transfer Station Plant Operative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating mobile plant and ensuring the safe, efficient running of site operations.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Operate mobile plant equipment, including routine cleaning and maintenance</li><li>Manage site traffic, including guiding tipping vehicles</li><li>Operate the weighbridge and record vehicle weights/details accurately</li><li>Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies</li><li>Work in line with site permits, legislation, and company procedures</li><li>Provide excellent customer service when liaising with customers and the public</li><li>Carry out additional duties as reasonably requested within the role</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Operational experience and valid licences for Loading Shovel, 360 Excavator, and Forklift</li><li>Previous experience in waste, recycling, or a similar process environment (advantageous)</li><li>Strong knowledge and commitment to Health &amp; Safety standards</li><li>Good communication and customer service skills</li><li>Basic IT skills desirable</li></ul>Pay &amp; Benefits:<ul><li>£13.80 per hour</li><li>Monday to Friday working hours</li><li>Overtime opportunities may be available</li><li>Weekly pay</li></ul>ASAP start.To apply, please visit <a class="decorated-link" href="https://workchain.co.uk" target="_new">workchain.co.uk</a> and complete the online application form.
