We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our client's team in Newark-on-Trent. Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a 7.5-tonne vehicle, ensuring compliance with all road traffic regulations and company policies
- Collect and deliver various goods, including, but not limited to, palletized loads, packages, and parcels
- Load and unload vehicles, utilizing appropriate equipment and manual handling techniques
- Plan effective routes to ensure timely and efficient deliveries
- Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate records of deliveries
- Perform vehicle inspections and report any defects or issues to the appropriate personnel
- Provide excellent customer service by maintaining a professional demeanor and ensuring satisfaction during interactions
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines to guarantee a safe working environment

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Valid Category C1 or above driving license
- A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience as a 7.5 Tonne Driver
- Full understanding of driving legislation and road traffic regulations
- Excellent knowledge of the local area and the ability to plan efficient routes
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with customers and colleagues
- Attention to detail and the ability to complete paperwork accurately
- Physically fit to handle loading and unloading duties
- A positive and proactive attitude towards work, demonstrating reliability and punctuality
- Valid Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification is desirable, but not essential
