Key Responsibilities:

1. Safely operate a 7.5 Tonne vehicle to deliver a range of goods to customers in the designated area.
2. Efficiently plan and organize delivery routes to achieve timely and successful drop-offs.
3. Handle multiple deliveries, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail in order to meet customer expectations.
4. Provide exceptional customer service by interacting with customers in a professional and friendly manner.
5. Adhere to road traffic regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
6. Maintain a high level of vehicle cleanliness and report any maintenance requirements.
7. Keep accurate records of deliveries, including completion reports and any returns or exchanges.
8. Cooperate with the warehouse team to ensure smooth loading and unloading of the vehicle.
9. Report any issues or incidents promptly to the appropriate supervisor.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. Hold a valid UK driving licence with category C1 entitlement (7.5 Tonne) and an up-to-date CPC Card.
2. Proven experience as a Multidrop Delivery Driver is desirable, but not essential.
3. Excellent geographical knowledge of Newark-on-Trent and surrounding areas.
4. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
5. Ability to work independently and efficiently, while maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach.
6. Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends, as per business requirements.
7. Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
8. Physically fit, as the role may involve some heavy lifting and manual handling.
