Workchain is currently seeking an experienced Accountant for our client in Nottingham, NG16, on a permanent basis.

Our client is an accountancy practice and are seeking an Accountant to join their growing team.

The successful candidate will be ACA / ACCA qualified or nearly qualified, or qualified by experience with a strong experience in practice and the ability to provide high quality service to a varied client base.

This role is being recruited for on a permanent basis.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing, reviewing and presenting year end accounts for a diverse portfolio of clients, including limited companies, partnerships and sole traders.
• Managing client relationships.
• Preparing management accounts, VAT returns, HMRC and corporation tax reports.
• Supporting business growth through excellent customer service.

Experience will include:

• ACCA / ACA qualified or close to qualification, or qualified by experience.
• Previous experience in an accountancy practice environment is essential.
• Strong financial knowledge and understanding and excellent attention to detail.
• Client communication, client service and relationship management

Hours of work are Monday to Thursday, 8.30am to 5.00pm, Friday 8.00am to 4.00pm.

The starting salary is up to £50kpa depending on experience, with excellent company benefits.
