Class 1 Driver - Temporary

Location: Ashby-de-la-Zouch

Workchain, a leading UK-based recruitment agency, is currently seeking a skilled and reliable Class 1 Driver for a temporary position in the driving industry.

Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a Class 1 vehicle to transport goods to various customer locations
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies throughout the delivery process
- Complete all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify any mechanical issues
- Collaborate with the operations team to coordinate delivery schedules
- Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor

Qualifications:
- Hold a valid and up-to-date Class 1 driver's license
- Possess a valid CPC qualification card
- Demonstrable experience as a Class 1 Driver, preferably within a similar role
- Excellent knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with colleagues and customers
- Ability to work independently and efficiently under minimal supervision
- A flexible approach to work, including availability for occasional weekend shifts

Pay Rate: £14.00 to £16.00 per hour
