Workchain is currently seeking a qualified Health and Safety Officer for a permanent position in the Nottingham area. This role will be within the Office industry and offers a competitive salary ranging from £35,000.00 to £40,000.00 per annum.

Key responsibilities:
- Develop, implement and monitor health and safety policies and procedures
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with relevant legislation
- Investigate accidents and incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions
- Deliver health and safety training to employees
- Keep up to date with industry best practices and make recommendations for improvements

Qualifications required:
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent health and safety qualification
- Proven experience in a health and safety role within the Office industry
- Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
