Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a HGV Class 1 vehicle during night shifts, transporting goods on long-distance routes
- Perform vehicle checks and ensure compliance with all legal requirements and safety regulations
- Load and unload goods, ensuring they are securely fastened for transportation
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, managers, and customers to facilitate smooth operations
- Coordinate deliveries, pick-ups, and routes efficiently to meet scheduled deadlines
- Keep accurate records of deliveries, hours worked, and vehicle maintenance
- Report any incidents, accidents, or vehicle defects promptly
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times, ensuring a high standard of professionalism

Qualifications Required:
- Hold a valid HGV Class 1 license
- Possess a valid Driver CPC qualification
- Previous experience as an HGV Class 1 driver is essential
- Excellent knowledge of UK roads and regulations
- Strong understanding of vehicle mechanics and maintenance
- Ability to work independently and make quick decisions in challenging situations
