Workchain Recruitment Agency is seeking a highly skilled and motivated HGV Class 2 Driver to join our reputable client based in Ilkeston. This temporary position offers an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers seeking flexible working hours and competitive pay rates.

Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate HGV Class 2 vehicles to transport goods to designated locations within the UK.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of assigned vehicles, ensuring they meet all safety standards and regulations.
- Load and unload goods as required, adhering to appropriate safety procedures and guidelines.
- Utilize navigation devices, such as GPS, to determine routes and follow them accurately, ensuring timely deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records of journey details, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery documentation.
- Adhere to all relevant legislation, regulations, and company policies, including road traffic laws.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid HGV Class 2 license, along with a Digital Tachograph Card and current Driver CPC.
- Proven experience as an HGV Class 2 Driver, preferably within a similar role.
- Strong understanding of UK driving regulations and road safety.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work autonomously and remain composed under pressure.
- Professional and customer-focused approach, providing a high level of service at all times.

Pay Rate: £14.00 - £17.00 per hour
