HGV Class 2 Driver

HGV Class 2 Driver required for a position with our well-established client in Lenton, Nottinghamshire.

This particular company are well known nationally, have operated nationwide for over 20 years and also have many RDC’s strategically placed around the UK. The driver will be placed on an ongoing basis.

The Role:

The HGV Class 2 driver will be required to work Monday to Friday. There is on average 10 drops per shift. The deliveries will be to stores and restaurants across the UK. All deliveries are delivered on box vehicles with tail lifts. The HGV Class 2 Driver must also be comfortable with handball as the job involves unloading pallets into the shops and restaurants. Runs are all done with a drivers mate.

The HGV Class 2 Driver will require:

C entitlement on their licence 
Valid Digital tacho & CPC Card
No more than 6 points on licence 
Safety Boots & Hi Viz Vest 

Hours:

The start time will be either 6am or 10am and the HGV Class 2 Driver will work upwards of 50 hours over a 5 day period.
