Job Title: HGV Class 2 Driver in Nottingham

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and maneuver a Class 2 Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) in accordance with all road and traffic regulations
- Transport goods and materials to designated locations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the vehicle to ensure its roadworthiness and report any defects or maintenance requirements
- Handle load securing and unloading procedures efficiently and without risk of damage to goods or injury
- Maintain clear and concise records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or delays encountered
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any concerns or inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, promoting a safe and responsible working environment at all times

Qualifications:
- Hold a valid HGV Class 2 license with no more than 6 penalty points
- Possess a valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
- Proven experience working as an HGV Class 2 Driver in a similar role
- Excellent knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws
- Ability to effectively navigate and plan routes to ensure efficient deliveries
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues
- Physically fit and capable of undertaking the manual handling aspects of the role
- A good understanding of load securing techniques
- Flexibility regarding working hours and willingness to work weekends when necessary

Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour
